The m912 fits the bill (mostly) and cost me $600 usd shipped (read imported as its UK only) I love the little netbook.
ASUS Note Books is the one of the bests Note Books in the world.Hard use Note Book.
That looks lovely
Yeah, I think one of the OLPC ones is a tablet version. It looks crap though :)
Hey, you almost described my Gateway CX2610 that I've had for over 3 years. I agree, it rocks. Unfortunately it cost a bit more that $600. A new netbook version of this would be tremendously useful. Isn't one of the versions of the OLPC like this?
I totaly agree http://www.wepc.com/vote/view/dream/1444/The_worlds_greatest_netbook
EdMercer - There is the Gigabyte M912 which retails for around $900 I think, but it's pretty thick and has a thick screen bezel.
Joshua - Like a netbook version of a Latitude XP with a 8.9" screen and a smaller price tag :)
I'd really love a tablet @ netbook price point. Almost buying/installing touch add-on to my Eee PC.
Sounds like a dell latitude XT?
