I hope so, anything that can expand mobile gaming is good. But it must be able to function in the real world. Crappy battery life or crappy performace will kill this project.
YES! I was just about to buy the 1000HE the other day until I stumbled upon the ION. For only $50 or a little more, why wouldn't I want more power. Plus, I want to get rid of XP and throw Vista on the netbook, which this card can handle.
YES. I would love this as a secondary computer. I wouldn't play an FPS game on a laptop without a peripheral mouse and keyboard anyway, so this would be good for strategy games and RPGs.
Even if a netbook could play more games, I still don't think I'd bite. When I use a computer, I use it for more than games, and the netbook simply can't do nearly as much as a full-fledged PC or laptop.
If I wanted to play games on my computer that badly, I'd probably put the money into building a gaming PC, not just blow it on a tiny laptop that would probably still be obsolete five minutes after I open the box.
Time and time again, I forgo gaming-capable laptops in favor of the smallest laptop I can find. I live in the city; I travel; I need something ultra portable.
I have a PC at home to play games, but I would jump at the chance to grab a netbook capable of playing games when I'm on the road. L4D in my hotel room? Yes, please!
Sure, the 10 inch screen isn't ideal for gaming, but as long as it has a decently high resolution I can deal. Besides, I would have no problem plugging it into a monitor or one of those big LCD TVs in swanky hotel rooms when the chance presents itself.
A gaming-capable netbook is probably the one thing that could break me from my Apple notebook buying habits.

i think i would definitely buy it if i needed a new laptop as long as i were able to dual boot a hackintosh.

...
and porn.
If it can play Starcraft II and Halo, sure. It is necessary to have some good games on the go.
No! I would rather have a full fledged gaming PC :D

Eh, I've never been a fan of gaming on a laptop if you have a gaming cpu already, and so a smaller size isn't all that appealing to me.
I'm sure for those who travel a lot or don't have much time for desktop gaming, this would look pretty cool.

Right so, I would use it to play small games like Tetris and the like... Bejeweled. Nothing big 'n fancy though.
