Excellent post Wil, good to see you back in the blog world, not that I don't love channel flip. I'd have to say my most missed PC would be a packard bell, which ran DOS and if you wanted to play solitaire, windows 3.1. But I mostly just played Jumpin Jack Rabbit, in the words of Justin Lee Collins, "Good Times".
Best article I've read in months... possibly even years! And I say this, even though you clearly show your bad taste in preferring dumb blonds over sassy brunettes ;) Please, please, please write more! The tech world NEEDS YOU. :)
Dude, I've totally missed your rambling brit-ness. You are one funny man. And yes, as time goes by the fuzzy memories of my computers past leave me with a warm tingly feeling inside. For the record it's (her) name was Maria....and boy do I miss her.
She was a 486 66mhz with a 40MB hard drive that played Micro Machines and MS Golf like a dream. And I loved her for it.
