Would you be interested in a portable tablet PC to detach from a docking station as a slate board? If so, how would you use this product?

I think it would be amazing to see a tablet PC in the form of a color e-ink display. Rather than be a fixed, hard case, it should be flexible and roll inside a protective tube. This would be great for reading documents and surfing the web, especially for commuters using public transportation.

it would be nice but, at some point, i would have to connect a keyboard and a mice to be able to use the computer at his full potential (if the dock isn't around). But, on the other hand, this would be great to play games, take notes as if it was a sheet of paper, watch movies, read electronic books, ...

I wouldn't have a use for it, If it was like the Aigo P8860 that could detach from the notebook with information transfer and other feature I would like a lot.

if the screen is detachable, it must have the CPU/GPU/HD/Battery, etc. in the screen portion. what remains to give the base any substance to hold the keyboard down? what makes it useful aside from the keyboard?

It would be useful for artists but I wouldn't be interested. Maybe if it is powerful enough on it's own, the tablet may be a good idea.

It would kinda be like a giant itouch wouldn't it?

It'd be cool so lang as it HAS PC capabilities that don't diminish any quicker.

Be cool for photoshop. And would be cool if there was a way to open a keyboard window and just type away on the tablet.
