Shock proof in-case they drop it.
Water proof, in case of spills.
also you might want the case and/or the screen to be scratch proof so your child dosent get upset if it gets scratched..because it wont

Shock resistant, Water proof...not kidding. my siblings always seem to like to drink around my computer and spill it on it. also so that people that eat and use the computer you could rinse the computers keyboard off. no sticky keys or smelly keys. :P

If ASUS made a kid friendly laptop it shoud be shock resistant and have a SSD hard drive, CPU with tight locking clips, and every other componet tightly locked into place in the notebook.

The notebook should be able to wisthand a 5 foot drop, water resistant to 10 feet, and a durable casing.

if asus made a laptop for kids on durability they would need to super pack everything and seal it in a thick rubber coating so kids can drop it from a 2 story building and dunk it in a pond for ultimate protection. also add some soft of sensors to make the kid notice like he left his/her computer or its to hot outside for the computer of the CPU and RAM are over heating... etc

They should be spill proof, when people get water into it and can survive a drop from a desk.
