also along with the 15.5-17.5 in screen it needs to have reasonable strength so that it does not get scratches very easily

although there are laptops with a 12" touchscreen that bold well for resolution as for size and weight for a more experienced user it just might not be enough. so probably its better to go with a wider or widest screen available.

A good size 15.4 to a 17.5 inch screen would be amazaing. Needs great resolution and sinitivity. Weight is another issue. Needs to be lightweight and portable.

15² if its position is like the one of normal screens and 17² if the screen would lay in front of you.

I'd say it depends. 15'' seems nice if the screen resolution is good and the touch screen is precise. This would make it easy to transport and the weight shouldn't be too much. But i think there should also be an other product for designers with a bigger touch screen so that they don't feel uncomfortable while using it.

Oh, just like 12 - 17 inches would work for me. I wouldn't need it any bigger, because it would take up too much space, and my hands would be everywhere. I wouldn't want it smaller because then I would have to be very precise with my touching.

I would say the same size as an average laptop, but instead of the keyboard at the bottom, there would be another touch screen.but the bottom screen would be a resistive touch screen, easier for typing.
