When would a touch screen portable netbook with a slide out qwerty keyboard come in handy?

A touchscreen is handy a lot of times. if you on an airplane, there wouldn't be enough room for a notebook. It is also handy when you're in a hurry and you don't have time to pack up your laptop. all you have to do is slip a touchscreen in a bag and there you go!

Where a touchscreen is handy alot of the time they take up room for better gpu's and Cpu's but that would be good for a buisness man who travells in airports. just slip it out...also you might want to add a airplane mode onto it.

While touch screens are more adaptive, and are good for some things, a netbook keyboard is still easier to touch type on the best touchscreen keyboard.

Definitely, I hate having to type into a touchscreen on a tablet because the buttons take up have the screen.

this is very helpful. everytime that you need to write a message (or long text) just slide out, in all other cases just use the virtual kbd :)

Well think about it,
1.Would it be easier to use the touch screens touch keyboard and possibly end up hitting multiple keys several time and always have to go back and edit?

or

2.Would it be easier to pop out the keyboard and be able to type comfortably and not accidentally hit the wrong keys and go back to fix all those mistakes?

As for me, I think 2 is better.

I agree with colecochran, I think this would only be helpful if you traveled a lot. If you an average home PC user it would be a pain to have a small keyboard. It would be kind of neat though, to be honest. Walk around with a tablet.

I think this would be extremely useful if you are someone who travels often. It could also be useful if you are a student in high school that allows laptops or a college student taking notes.
