About Me
Michael Brito here. I blog, communicate and build relationships with other people. I Twitter actively; so much that I have written a personal Twitter Manifesto. I believe that marketing is good; and if you love your customers they’ll love you back and tell people about it. I believe that business results are critical but should not be the driving force behind connecting with people. I believe in being real, authentic and human. I believe that consumers are real people with real passions. Let’s start treating them that way. I am a recovering direct marketer. I have learned that conversations are more valuable than conversions; even though they are more difficult to measure. I refuse NOT to have fun at my job. Oh, and I am a social media strategist at Intel Corporation.

NOTEBOOK PC PC : DISCUSSION
What is the perfect all in one device?
Posted in Notebook PC | March 3, 2009 12pm
Clockwise starting from the top left: HP Netbook, iPhone, Asus Netbook, Thinkpad (work laptop), HP laptop (personal); and the picture is taken with my Blackberry Bold, which I heart deeply, very deeply. What is missing in this photo are my two flip videos (mini & HD), my Sony Webbie, my desktop computer, my Playstation 3 … and the list goes on. And, to be completely transparent, I don’t have any idea what’s inside any of these devices; and quite frankly I don’t care. All I care about is submitting to my technology addiction and doing the things I love to do with ease (blogging, staying connected, twittering, facebooking, video editing, and much more.) I am not an engineer. I am not a product manager. I am simply a marketing guy who values relationships and gaining feedback from people outside the Intel mammoth of a company; and that’s why I am here. I have reviewed many of the ideas posted here on Wepc and I think they are all quite awesome; especially the Double Jointed Notebook that flips vertical as well as horizontal. Please keep em’ coming! With that said, I’d love to get your ideas, insights, thoughts, feedback on a device where I can do everything I love to do because I am sure many of you love to do the same things. Imagine that you are God for one day. What would this device look like? How would it work? Believe me, there are some really smart people here at Intel and Asus; much smarter than myself so perhaps some of your ideas can really be implemented. If not now, than perhaps someday in the near future. Think hard. Glory awaits you. Please use the comments section below, or feel free to submit entirely new PC’s and Ideas and post the URL to comments.ps. I am heading over to New York for a couple of days and I’ll be bringing my Asus Netbook along for the ride to test out the waters and share my experience. I’ll post something up probably next week (maybe even a video review – it’ll be my first). MichaelFollow me on twitter, if you dare. : ) -
NOTEBOOK PC PC : DISCUSSION
I work for Intel and I am here to listen and participate
Posted in Notebook PC | December 12, 2008 12pmMichael Brito here. I work for Intel. I am delighted to be a part of this conversation on Wepc.com. I realize how important technology is too many of the readers here; and hope to provide some insight and add value to the discussion. I need to warn you that while I am somewhat technical, I am no engineer. I am actually a marketer but I can assure you that that there will be no marketing messages coming from me.My area of expertise is in social media; and I (and Intel) realize how important conversations and relationships are when engaging with others online. I take this seriously and live up to this code in all of my online interactions. One of my responsibilities is the managing editor of the consumer blog on Intel, Inside Scoop. I also have a personal social media blog where I share my insights and experiences with enterprise social media and I am very active on Twitter.I am looking forward to meeting and talking with you.
