Imagine the computer that would be light and powerfull at the same time.

It would be little and running on OpenSource so it doesn't need that much performances to do things. there is no cd drive or anything else than wifi, bluetooth,2 USB and a VGA or HDMI port.

When you are at work, you dock it to a dock made specially for it that contains a processor and all the accessories you need like usbs, lan, screen connectors, ...

It would be the best of the two worlds, because when you are not docked, you only have 1 processor so you use less battery (=bigger batt time), and easy to use while being light. When you are at work, it's like a desktop where you can plug a screen, projector or tv and it would work as well. The only thing is to check if it doesn't get too hot in there !

It would be a computer running on OpenSource like linux:
-It would be more performant because it's not running all those unecessary processes that windows does.
-It would work with everything because OpenSource is made to work with everything. OpenSource drivers, OpenSource programs, etc.
-It would cost less because you don't have to pay for the logo and the company's name like for microsoft and apple.
-it would have been made after making studies on impact so that it's more nature friendly.
-it would come in a package that is smaller so less waste of materials to make the package and more units can enter a same truck so less pollution.
-It would have a longer life because the materials with which it was made are better.
-At the end of it's life, there would be programs to completely use everything that is in the computer and nothing dangerous would be put in the garbage which would be dangerous for the earth's environement.

This would be a really performant computer that doesn't weight that much. It could be running in OpenSource while being user friendly so we can use EVERYTHING with it. This could control everything including our house, tv, etc. Even better, it could connect to satelites so that we can have the internet from everywhere and we could be located easily if ever we need help. Something that could take care of us by taking notes about our health and, in case of need, call for ambulance or tell our doctor we have health problems or we will have some.

This would be the best thing on earth and would never have battery problems because it charges during the day with his solar pannels. There would never be any problem with connecting it to anything because it would connect by wireless.
