This pc would be around the size of today's latest netbooks with a nearly full size keyboard. It would use low power processors like the intel atom, with higher capacity ssd's (~64gb or higher) The laptop would be a tablet convertible with a magnetic digitizer (not pressure sensitive) for best writing performance. On the back of the screen instead of nothing there would be a e-ink display for reading documents/books on extremely low power in direct sunlight, on bus, in meetings etc. It would be meant for note taking in class, with built-in microphones, for reading e-books and e-textbooks. Ram should be 1gb minimum, graphic's specs could be fairly low, battery life would be important. It should be made of an aluminum case, with water resistance for outdoor use. ie rain wouldn't be a problem. The trackpad should be multitouch with gestures. The LCD screen should have dynamically controlled LED backlighting for power savings and higher contrast, like Dolby's technology. The e-ink display should also have a reading light for low light conditions.
