    Get rid of HDD. Place few USB connectors into HDD bay (or compact flash connectors). Allow boot from USB. Optionally add RAID0 controller that allows merge USB drives. This will save tons of money on OS and HDD and gives us some freedom in HDD upgrade.

    CPU: Atom 1.6Ghz+
    MEM: 2GB
    HDD: cardreader to use CF cards as HDD + few internal USB ports to allow mount USB drives inside case as HDD. No need for integrated storage. Raid0 contoler for USB is a huge plus.
    NET: WiFi + 3G/GPRS (maybe 1GB lan if very cheap)
    PORTS: two USB2.0, audio in/out
    NAV: keyboard with backlight + touchpad
    MON: 7-10" PVA or IPS at 1280x800

    No need for webcam, bluetooth, speakers, firewire, irda, vga, com, lpt even if it costs like 1 cent only.
    No OS needed since no HDD (or freedos at minimal flash card like 32MB)

    I believe this will be awesome PC. Exactly what I need.
