About Me

I'm a big gamer but my computer is currently lacking in the essentials such as graphics, motherboard, ram, processor as well as my monitor. My entire computer is pretty much outdated and hopefully the people here at wepc in partnership with Intel and Asus( some of my favorite companies ) will provide me with the top of the line equipment to increase my gaming experience.

    New Hard Drive Generation

    I'm sure the bulk of you who are here reading this discussion topic have around a 7200rpm - 10,000rpm hard drive which ranges between 250GB- 2TB is space. With the new Solid State Drives coming out how many of you are interested in upgrading? Tests have shown that the fastest Hard Drive between 10,000rpm - 15,000rpm perform slower than the newest commercially available SSDs. Though most of the speed differences are minimal I believe that the new generation of SSDs hold great promise and although the space is limited we can expect great new developments in our future.

    What do you guys think? Should we stick with our standard rpm hard drives or move up to the SSDs?
