My Laptop Design steps aside from any known laptop so far.
The main idea behind it is, that instead of an Keyboard / Trackpad combination which is common nowadays, the base part of the laptop would be another screen, a duplicate of the main screen.
Both screens would integrate a multi Touch sensor, so that tey can be transformed in watever you wish them to be; Large drawing tablet, keyboard, gamepad like input device etc etc, it is as easy as changing the background picture of one or both of the screens to convert it into what ever you like it to be.
Dual cameras, one in the base part, one at the normal spot where you would find your ordinary webcam would enable the laptop to recognise three dimensional handgestures, interactin with games and other 3d aplications will be as easy as a twist of your Hand.
the base Part would also hold motherboard / gfx / sound / HD Media reader ( blu ray etc ) / ssd hdd / sufficient usb ports / gigabit lan / wireless hdmi / wireless N / Battery.
the "screen" part would hold a second battery and wireless N wireless HDMI receivers.

The reason for the receivers and the battery in the screen part is that it is detachable, imagine if you would come home, place the laptop on a table, detach the very lightweight screen section and carry it around the House, always having full access to the Main Laptop.
Reading on the porch, drawing the latest sketches in the garden, reading technical instructions while fixing your car, everything without the full bulky Laptop.
There are endless other possibilitys of using this design, just think about extendending your desktop monitor with two aditional touchscreen displays left and right, and what kind of possibilitys this opens up again...

Some more features:

The two cameras would enable the laptop to do a 3d scan of your face to only grand you acces to sensible data, no need for aditional devices like a fingerprint reader / do you own fancy handgesture in frot of it and it comes to life, ur frinds will be amazed...

let the cameras import basic 3 dimensional objects for you, ur coffee cup in your computer in a matter of seconds ? and you cant even drink cooffee out of it ? cant get much better ;)
