All-Purpose Laptop

This would be a notebook and netbook and one. It would have a thin light profile with long battery life, decent processor and memory. It would have a docking system unlike any out there, it would be the same dimensions of the laptop and would have a proprietary connector. The docking system would actually be an extension on the laptop itself with expanded memory, and processing power, and optical drives which would allow the machine to have all the power it needs. When undocked the laptop would be able to used for what most netbooks (and notebooks in that manner are used for) internet, email, processing, and things. This would kill the need for a powerful desktop for games and higher audio/video purposes and give the person what they really wanted, a portable laptop. Like the Lenovo U330, it would have switchable graphics too, the discrete being in the docking station and the integrated in the net/notebook. The netbook would not have an optical drive and only 1 or 2 usb ports, HDMI out port, and headphone and microphone jacks, webcam, card slots and very long battery life. The docking station would have many usb, blu-ray or dual layer dvd burner, along with another processor, more memory, discrete graphics, ethernet, and monitor out for connecting to (multiple) monitors and a tv tuner.
