Dream PC Description
DUAL DISPLAY-------------------------
The Auroura Laptop will be capable of provising users with dual display when nessesary , this will both allow and encourage users to visually exploit the concurency of the operating system the Auroura will be running and use it to there advantage .
The dual display will consist of a slim line screen that is by default on top of another slim line screen , hence initially giving the user one screen to use incase of space restrictions. when the user requires a secondary display the screen behind is simply slid out. both screens angle and location along the laptop can then be adjusted . the operating system in turn will detect a secondary display and u can choose to extend your desktop etc.
LOW WEIGHT & HIGH PORTABILITY
-------------------------
The Auroura Laptop will shed alot of wegiht that the conventional laptop has , examples are as follows:
-slim line screens should make the weight of the secondary screen negligilble to the user.
-sized down charger to decrease traveling weight
-a unique slimline shape for the laptop which will allow the laptop to be easily handeled , easily packed away .
POWERFUL PROCESSING:
----------------------
The Auroura will come in a range of models , the 3 main models are listed below:
Traveller :
this model of the laptop , will have the main objective of shedding as much weight deemed un-nessesary as possible whilst keeping the unique design and the Dual display feature intact. however the traveller model will also provide a good experience with a powerfull system but will lack some features.
DreamLine:
this model of the Auroura will also try to shed some weight however it will also concentrate on providing the user with a powerfull & responsive system with as much features as possible , and hence the DreamLine model will have to balance between its weight and its features.
Extreme:
this model will be the tope end of the auroura line , it wil provide the user with a feature packed dual display laptop with extreme processing capabilities.
Features could include:
Biometric Saftey
Retenal Recognition
Voice Recognition
High Pixel Webcam 7.0 MP +
Bluetooth & Wireless Connectivety
Tablet PC (touch screen on the front screen)
High Quality Speakers
BlueRay
....
Extreme Processing Achived through:
High RAM: Typically 4GB +
Multi Core Processer: Quad Core - Core 2 Extreme
Graphics Card: Available
Hard Disk: SATA II or SOLID STATE HARDDRIVE
Heat Disposal: the Auroura Extreme wil have 4 low noise fans below , and send out the heat from behind.

Awesome idea! I like how the user can slide a second screen out if they want, and it not just use one screen. I assume that the second screen will be powered off while only one screen is in use?
the point of the dual display is to allow users to have 2 screens visible at the same time , im fully aware that there is software that partitions your display however that means each partitiond display will be sized down , any programmer or heavy computer user or for that matter any computer enthusiast will undoubtly come to the conclusion that 2 screens are ery beneficial
the display setting would work on my i-hud :)
And when you fill up the secondary screen with documents and images, then what? A third screen? A fourth?
This could all be done now with software. Why not have a screen that scrolls to the right and left that displays more stuff. This would be like a carousel with you, the user, at the center looking out in one direction. Rotate the carousel and other screens and images (documents, spreadsheets, movies, etc) scroll by as the carousel rotates. The more things you have open, the bigger in diameter the carousel gets so it could display as many active files as the computer can handle.
Apple begins to do this already with its 'stacks' feature.
