Dream PC Description
This PC will have the aesthetics of a new macbook pro. 13.3" to 15.4" screen. Slim, sleek, powerful, energy efficient and good looking. I don't need a splash-OS. Make the true OS boot faster. The touchpad will be multi-touch, a playback display screen that can read fingerprints for security/whatever you choose to use it for. No more clunky, fat, wedge shaped designs that won't fit into slim laptop sleeves or look like a rehash of 1990's technology. Unibody design from carbon fiber, titanium, whatever, like the Voodoo or MBP. The Lenovo IdeaPad u330 is a good foundation as well as the Voodoo 133. Take the best features from all of these notebooks and work with Ubuntu and you will kill any thing out there. Ensure hardware compatibility, work with the big name providers, intel, Nvidia, ATI, seagate, Asus, corsair etc to ensure full power utilization, efficiency, and compatibility. Make it a Linux laptop.Dell's lard-butt designs will have cold sweats thinking about it and Microsoft will fear the awesome power of a fully certified, fully functioning (with no hacks) Linux laptop.
Hmm maybe. I guess it sounds okay.
ASUS already has linux on their EEPC's, I think they would be a great company to make a full size notebook with linux.
