DIAL DS 2009
Dream PC Description
Same as my other design, the DIAL 2009, except:instead of the removable keyboard, it has a second (same sized) touch screen with a silicon cover to clip over it. the point of this is to use the touch screen for recognition of the keys but still have a tactile keyboard and touchpad (as laptops conventionally have). when removed, it allows the touch screen to be used normally.
The silicon cover covers the entire screen, creating a full, laptop keyboard and touchpad area. the keys have a clear top, so the keyboard can change dynamically (eg. for photoshop controls or simply capitals and Shift-punctuation)
Being an OLED screen, it only lights up the areas which are required.
Alternatively, the screen can be turned off, and used as a tablet (although lines could appear as the tablet is drawn on, to give feedback as to what the user is doing)

That's very originally, but... Maybe eject only keypad without touchpad i'm think.
p.s.: sorry for my English... i'm Russian...
This is an awesome concept
Copywriting the idea, nice try!
Its too easy for it to snap off because of its little neck holding up the screen.
GREAT CONCEPT! BRIAN PUT THIS IN HIS BLOG FOR THE POCKET NETBOOKS.
