EEE gaming netbook

PC img

PC Idea Description

Many people think that to have a gaming PC you need to have a high price and high specs. This has been proved wrong by many people. The EEE pc makes a great little gaming PC for some great games. Quake III arena can be easily played on it and is fun to play on the go.

What ASUS should do is make a gamer version of the EEE. Put on some gamer colors or something to start and make it look "l33ter". Then, install several full games on the PC stock, such as Quake III.

The faster the boot time the better for this one. It would be great to use it just like all portable gaming consoles (PSP, DS) and just sit down and start it up quickly, play a few games, then shut it down.

@dtoid_l0cke: Um, how about the most important part of a gaming machine.... A dedicated graphics card?

@SilverSurf - It's called "Hibernation" and every XP machine to current supports it, you just need to have enough hard drive space for it to write the RAM to a non volatile medium.

add a remote control to that to remote control media player and higher external output resolution to connect it to a larger LCD television and you have a nice travelling pc.

This sounds great, another thing you could add is like a start and stop button in windows like virtualization has.. where you can just press the stop button and it will freeze and shut down the OS and when you want to go on the laptop again, just hit the play button and it will open up exactly how you left it with out any problems...
