PC Idea Description
What if you could have a laptop that would be able to separate the screen from the rest of its body? Thats my idea ,a laptop that has an attachable touchscreen that you could easily unplug , then plug in the screen a battery-control_panel-wifi_re ceiver/transmitter (3 in 1) and use a wireless connection to connect your screen with the rest of your laptop...Furthermore a qwerty touchscreen-keyboard could appear if you ask it (by pressing a control button located on the battery)-You can choose between horizontal or vertical view (again by pressing another control button) The benefits... 1) you avoid the annoying heat on your laps plus 2 )the heat's harmful effects. 3) You reduce the weight of your laptop while you are using only your screen without having to walk around in the near area (200m-400m radius from your unit 802.11.n) carrying the rest of your laptop, but still ,3) the laptop will do all the hard job since the screen won't be a tablet pc at its own but only an input-output unit without having a 2nd processor or something.Thats some of the benefits i could think for now but i am sure that you ll found many other dependent at your needs! You have so many options....real freedom ...think about it. ;)

That is a goob idea but they can make it only the screen with the keypad highlighted if u need it, so why not reduce the weight a lot more and dont have to parts but only one
I like this idea - you can have better ergonomic comfort at home and still take it with you as a laptop. Perfect! Plus no wires, like an iMac. Neat.
HMM, kind of like a UMPC with a ultra mobile docking station good
I think someday maybe the netbooks look like this one..!In fact, i want to look like this one.Lightweight and cool since i ll hold only the screen and not the rest of it. I could use it as an ebook reader , car pc ,movie player, photo frame (when i dont use it) and goes on.
That could be extremely expensive due to design challenges and I don't think it will appeal to a wide market.
Also existing tablet PCs I've seen have pretty crappy hardware.
What if you can pop out the key board and then twist the bottom all the way around to be like a stand. Sort of emulate the design of a iMac but in a laptop. So that assuming wherever you are you have a flat table or surface you just pop out your keyboard bend the base all the way around to be a stand and set it down in front of you. So like I can put it on my coffee table lay on my couch with the keyboard in my lap and use it. Or wherever this is possible.
Imagine how expensive that would be!!!!!
great....another thing to lose lol
