Can I Run Football Manager 2021 On My Computer?

Below we have a list of both the minimum and the recommended requirements for Football Manager 2021 on the PC and also for Mac OSX, as provided by the publisher. Publishers do however tend to understate the performance requirements at both levels, so we would treat these with a degree of scepticism and assume slightly more power is needed at both levels.

Football Manager 2021, like previous iterations in the series, doesn’t have much in the way of demanding graphics, so tends to lean more on CPU power. FPS isn’t really as much of a concern as it is on most games, so you can get away with playing the game on a fairly low powered machine. See links to our buyer’s guides at the bottom for an indication of what PCs we’d recommend to play the game on.

If you’re unsure as to exactly what components are inside your computer, you can follow our guide here for working out what your PC’s specifications are.

We’re currently working on a tool that can automatically evaluate your system’s capabilities to play any game to make this process a lot more convenient. We’ll be sure to update this post once it becomes available.

What Gaming PC Do We Recommend To Play Football Manager 2021?

To get Football Manager 2021 playing, given its low requirement, a $300 build as an entry point would suffice. Of course you won’t likely be able to play much else on such a computer, so we’d consider going for a $500 build or higher unless you only intend to use your computer for word processing, web browsing, and playing Football Manager 2021 or equally undemanding games. A $500 build or higher will also get you better performance on Football Manager 2021.

If you’re not looking to build your own computer, then one of our prebuilt models for under $500 would run Football Manager 2021 just fine at 1080p. Again if you’re interested in playing other more demanding games or running low-level workstation applications then consider a $800 pre-built machine or higher.
