Can I Run Genshin Impact On My Computer?

Genshin Impact is a game designed to be playable on mobiles, so is available on Android and iOS as well as Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Look below to see the minimum and the recommended system requirements for running the game on Windows PC.

Normally, we recommend assuming slightly more power is needed than the minimum requirements provided by the publisher suggest, as they sometimes understate these in order to encourage more people to buy the game.

Fortunately Genshin Impact, as a game designed to run on mobiles, is very well optimized and does not take a great deal of computing power to run on low settings. Those playing on PC though will be able to get better visual and performance quality than mobile users, so having a more powerful rig that meets the recommended specifications will enable you to run the game on higher settings with better resolution.

If you are unsure about the specifications of your PC, have a look over our guide on how to find these out here. We are in the process of developing a tool that can work out your PC’s ability to run any game to streamline this process, and once it’s complete we’ll provide a link to it on this page.

See the suggested PC builds near the bottom of this article for some advice on what computer you’ll need to run the game at either low or max settings, if you’re looking to upgrade on your existing system.

What PC Do We Recommend To Play Genshin Impact?

To run Genshin Impact at 1080p on low settings, we’d advise going with either out $400 or $500 build. If you want to push the settings and resolution to the max though, we’d recommended considering our $1,000 build or higher.

If the thought of putting your own PC together is off-putting, one of our prebuilds for under $500 will certainly do the job on low settings at 1080p. If you fancy the higher resolutions and settings, our $1,000 pre-built PC will suffice.
