Ghostrunner is playable on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and of course on the PC.
Listed below you will find both the minimum and the recommended system requirements as given by the Publisher for running the game on PC. Usually, we recommend assuming slightly more power is needed than what the minimum requirements suggest, as developers and publishers have a tendency to understate this.
For such a visually impressive game, Ghostrunner is surprisingly non-demanding, though you’re still going to need more than a budget-level PC to get the most out of it. Set in a dystopian cyberpunk world, the player takes control of Jack the Ghostrunner, a technologically enhanced supersoldier who must liberate the tower that contains the last vestiges of humanity from an oppressive regime.
Gameplay-wise Ghostrunner is a hardcore (i.e. not easy) parkour, hack-and-slash game, with plenty of platforming, some minor puzzle solving, slow-motion bullet dodging, and one-hit kills.
To run Ghostrunner on the lower settings at 1080p one of our $500 or $600 builds will suffice. If you want to push things a bit further of course and up the graphical settings and/or resolution then going with a $1,500 build or higher is your best bet.
If the idea of building your own computer is offputting, then one of our suggested prebuilt computers for under $800 will certainly run the game at 1080p on lower settings. For higher settings and resolutions, our recommended $1,500 pre-built PC will give you what you need.
