GRID Legends is the follow-up to 2019s GRID, confusingly the fourth entry in the GRID series that started in 2008 with Race Driver: GRID. It promises to bring back some of the biggest fan-requested modes that we’ve all been hoping for.
Elimination mode pits racers against each other to be the last driver left on the road. As players race, the person in the last position is periodically eliminated until there is only one racer left. Drift mode, meanwhile, tasks players with performing the best drifts possible while racing around a set track.
One of the biggest and most interesting inclusions is a campaign that actually features a storyline. Dubbed Driven to Glory, this mode will task players with rising through the ranks of the race scene, with a character portrayed by popular actor Ncuti Gatwa from the series Sex Education.

What Gaming PC Do We Recommend To Play GRID Legends?
If you’re looking for a PC capable of running GRID Legends, then you’ll need to think about getting something smack-bang in the middle of the mid-range, or at least pretty close to it. As with any build, doing it for yourself means saving a bunch of money on top. You can probably expect to pay somewhere in the $600 area for a PC that can match the minimum specs, and closer to $800 for the recommended stats, assuming no troubles with finding parts.
If you’re determined not to build the machine for yourself, then you’re probably going to pay slightly more than necessary. For the minimum settings, it’s going to cost you close to $800, with recommended settings probably coming in closer to the $1000 mark.
