Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition is a PC only graphical enhancement on the 2019 game, which can now take better advantage of DLSS 2.0 and ray tracing features and also incorporates upgraded 4K textures. Particularly noticeable are the improved lighting effects in indoor spaces, which make the game feel even more graphically immersive.

Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition has the exact same gameplay as the 2019 version, and is purely a graphical update. The third installment of the Metro trilogy, layers take on the role of Artyom, a survivor in post-apocalyptic Russia, as he and his companions discover and board a train to leave Moscow and search for other human settlements, fighting mutants and hostile humans along the way.
