Despite its explosive visuals, SCARLET NEXUS is a relatively undemanding game, and most gaming PCs will be able to play it at a respectable FPS. The official minimum and recommended system requirements for SCARLET NEXUS are listed below. With a Sci-Fi story and cell-shaded graphical style heavily drawn from Anime, SCARLET NEXUS is a cutscene heavy JPRG with combo-based combat. In a future where the latent psychic hormone was discovered in the human brain, leading to the advancement of society, this is cut short by an invasion of mutants from the sky, drawn to consume psychic brains. The player takes control of one of two characters with separate story threads to combat this threat. Special moves and skills from your character and various companions can be stacked up in various powerful chain combos to defeat your mutant enemies.
SCARLET NEXUS will be playable on the lowest settings at 1080p on one of our $500 self-builds for decent FPS. If you want to crank up the graphical options to the max, then we’d instead recommend a $800 self-build PC for 1080p resolution, or a $1,000 self-build PC for 1440p resolutions, and finally a $1,500 self-build is what you’ll want if you’re taking the resolution up to 4K.
If you don’t want to construct your own gaming PC, then a $500 pre-build will run SCARLET NEXUS no problem at 1080p on the lowest settings. For those higher settings at 1080p a pre-build for under $800 should do the job, with a $1,000 pre-built PC sufficing for 1440p gaming and a $1,500 pre-build if you want to play at 4K.
