Optimal Hardware Suggestions

As this game has such low system requirements, you will be hard-pressed to find a current PC build that can’t play this title. Most entry-level PC builds will be able to hit a solid 60 FPS straight out of the box.

If you surpass the low recommended requirements, you’ll be well on your way to enjoying Team Fortress 2 on its highest settings on a resolution of at least 1080p.

What Gaming PC Do We Recommend?

As you can see with even the recommended requirements, this won’t need a powerful or modern machine to run comfortably. However, if you are looking to upgrade your PC anyway, perhaps to play other similar titles, you would be best off going for a budget range PC.

A $500 PC build will be good enough to run this title, while also running other titles like it.

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Processor
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • GPU: XFX Radeon RX 570 RS XXX Edition 1286 MHz

However, if you are planning to run more demanding titles, then a budget build will limit you in some cases. You may find that you will need to dial down your settings if you want to play something with higher system requirements, which could affect your overall playing experience.

If budget allows, it might be worth dipping into the mid-range of PC builds, starting off with something like our $700 build.
