When will iPhone 13 Pro Black Friday sales start in 2022?

If the previous year was anything to go off, early Black Friday iPhone 13 Pro deals will start to appear throughout November in the run-up to the day itself on November 25th. That being said, each year we see Black Friday deals being listed earlier and earlier, so there’s nothing to say that we won’t be seeing some appearing throughout October. Regardless of whether they’re technically Black Friday deals or not, we’ll be listing iPhone 13 Pro deals as they appear between late September and November 28th on this page, so you don’t have to wait until Black Friday itself to pick up some good savings.

How to get the best Black Friday iPhone 13 Pro deals in 2022?

We expect to see the basic iPhone 13 Pro deals this Black Friday starting at around a $50 discount, potentially going high as 20% off the usual asking price. For context, the entry-level iPhone 13 Pro now costs around $899 for the entry-level version. The best discounts will likely be limited to anything which ties you into a contract with a specific provider – if you’re doing this, make absolutely sure that the terms of the contract fit your needs and expectations before pulling the trigger.

The quality and size of the deals does generally improve the closer to Black Friday we get, however, if you spot an iPhone 13 Pro discounted at around 20% off or better, it’s probably best to snap it up there and then as you’re unlikely to get much better (unless it’s a refurb/secondhand).

iPhone 13 Pro vs iPhone 14 Pro

In terms of design, the iPhone 13 Pro isn’t a million miles away from the new iPhone 14 Pro: the borders aren’t quite as thin, and the display is a bit shorter, plus you don’t get the Dynamic Island cutout at the top – just the regular notch. In terms of hardware, you don’t get as powerful a chip (A15 rather than A16 Bionic) and the camera is a bit lower res, but this is still a powerful machine with a great camera, and now considerably cheaper (you’re unlikely to see much in the way of reductions for the iPhone 14 Pro, given it’s only just come out).

The upgraded screen came with a variable refresh rate from as low as 10hz all the way up to 120hz that made a huge difference to just how smooth using the phone feels.

When compared to its Pro Max sibling, the iPhone 13 Pro offers basically the same features. The two phones have the same cameras, the same storage, and very similar performance capabilities. The battery lives of the phones are both impressive, with the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s only lasting marginally longer.

The main differences between these phones can really be boiled down to their size, and their price, so unless you feel you really need the 6.7-inch screen of the iPhone 13 Pro Max we suggest going for the iPhone 13 Pro, unless of course, you can find an especially juicy Black Friday deal on the Pro Max.
