If 2021 is any indication, we’ll see Black Friday iPhone 13 deals for 2022 appearing all the way through November up until Cyber Monday on the 28th. Every year so far though Black Friday sales have been ran ever earlier by retailers seeking to out-do each other, so this year we may even see some early Black Friday deals in October. Between now and the end of November, even if an iPhone 13 deal isn’t technically a Black Friday deal, we’ll be listing it on this page if we think it’s worth your time.

How to get the best Black Friday iPhone 13 deals in 2022?

The range of iPhone 13 deals you’re likely to see this Black Friday will be somewhere between a $50-$120 discount, with the better offers likely requiring you to lock into a contract with a specific telecom provider (ensure that the terms of the contract are right for you before you pull the trigger). For context, the iPhone 13 now costs around $599 for the entry-level 128GB SSD version, with higher storage models costing substantially more.

iPhone 13 vs iPhone 14

The difference between the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 standard version is relatively minor, compared to previous leaps between the different generations of phones which we’ve seen at times in the past. The iPhone 14 uses the same CPU as the iPhone 13 (though it has a faster GPU), only has a slightly larger camera, and in terms of its aesthetic design and form factor, is very similar (both generations have a notch). Although the iPhone 14 has better battery life and new software feature support (Photonic Engine software, SOS via satellite, Crash detection), it’s questionable whether or not this is worth the additional $200 MSRP, never mind the extra savings you’re likely to make on the iPhone 13 this Black Friday.

Is iPhone 13 good for gaming?

While the iPhone 13 isn’t quite as cut out for gaming as its brother the iPhone 13 pro, lacking its 120Hz display and being slightly less powerful. If however, you’re wanting your phone to be cut out for some casual on-the-go gaming it should easily live up to the challenge.

With storage starting at 128 GB the iPhone 13 will comfortably house a good few games; 5G offers great download speeds, and Apple’s A15 Bionic chip should give enough processing power for even the most demanding of games. It’s also worth bearing in mind that there are still very few games with 120fps support for mobile so the 120Hz display on the 13 Pro might not be as useful as it first appears.
