The best Apple Black Friday deals 2021

It’s the most wonderful time of the year for those of you who are looking for the latest Apple Black Friday deals in 2021, as we can usually expect to see a ton of deals coming from retailers around Apple’s entire stock. That includes MacBooks, iPads, iPhone, the Apple Watch, and frankly too many different product SKUs to list in one single place all at once. With that said, you can expect to start to see Apple’s Black Friday deals starting the week preceding Black Friday, with Black Friday itself taking place on the 26th of November 2021 this year.

What time does Apple’s Black Friday start?

You can expect to see deals on Apple products this Black Friday from the week of November 26. However, many retailers are now going live earlier with their fantastic offers ahead of Black Friday itself in order to drum up interest in the coming deals, as they’ll be wanting customers to keep coming back. So, it’s not going to be unlikely to see several differently-priced deals over the course of the week before Black Friday begins, and of course on the day itself, too.

What are the Apple Black Friday deals?

It can be difficult to predict exactly what is going to be on sale on Black Friday, as Apple has so many different product lines, but we expect to see aged stock on older models being cleared out at a slightly deeper discount than current SKUs, which we’d expect to see this come from the third-party retailers who have already purchased stock. We do not expect to see any direct deals from Apple on Black Friday, it usually dishes out free gift cards on the big day, instead of actually providing discounts on its product. These are split by product category. You can expect some Apple Black Friday deals with us expecting to see the largest discounts on the following products:

When we get the latest data on exactly what discounts you’ll be able to expect from Apple directly, we will update this list accordingly, so be sure to check back for more information in the future. But you should always consider the following:

  1. Don’t overspend on a laptop or tablet that you won’t utilise to its full potential
  2. Consider purchasing AppleCare if you want further protection for your new purchases
  3. Don’t expect prices to hit rock-bottom, and instead try to be realistic with what you want to buy.

Aside from looking directly at what Apple has to offer, we can expect to see larger discounts on older products, as we mentioned before, with the greatest discounts to be found on the more expensive products such as the MacBook Pro line and iPad Pro, which is beginning to show its age, and retailers will be more likely to want to discount them further. On the lower end of the scale, we may see products such as the AirPods being discounted slightly, as they’re a product whose pricing is more based on the volume of sales that retailers are able to make rather than the margin of profit per product. This means that you’re likely to see deals, but they might not be massive discounts. Especially because we can see that Apple is gearing up for the announcement and release of potential brand-new AirPods.

How to get the best Apple Black Friday deals

The best way to shop for Black Friday deals comes in the way of some simple steps that you should follow so you don’t get too overwhelmed during Black Friday itself. Here are our simple steps on how to get the best Apple Black Friday deals.

  1. Know what you’re shopping for, and pick out the right product(s) for you
  2. Check every relevant retailer’s website
  3. Find a deal that you like
  4. Run a price comparison to see if you’ve got the best discount possible
  5. Purchase only from reputable retailers, especially on high-ticket items.

It can be easy to get suckered into a great deal and then have the retailer either be unreliable or scam you out of your money, so for any retailers that you’ve never used before, be sure to check sites such as Trustpilot to ensure that the place you are purchasing from is legitimate.

How much do Apple Laptops cost on Black Friday?

We can usually expect to see Apple Laptops at a normal discount of around $100-$200 depending on what make and model it is usually, so we can expect to see further cuts. Recently the M1-equipped Macbook Air was on offer for $849, so we could potentially see that particular SKU dip below $700 this Black Friday. The older MacBook Pro models that are due to be phased out could also reach around the $800 mark. With the newer SKU’s that were at Apple’s Unleashed event coming in at around a $100 discount, if we go by historical data available to us from when newer Apple products have come out close to Black Friday.

How much will the Apple Watch be on Black Friday?

With the recently released Apple Watch Series 7, it’s unlikely that we’ll see massive discounts on this fairly new SKU, as the watch only just came to market. If there is a deal to be had, it will be a discount under the $100 mark, which is not quite as appealing a deal as others. However, you can expect deals and discounts over $100 on the older models of the Apple Watch, especially the more premium variants of models such as the Apple Watch Series 6, which retailers will be keen to get rid of with the Apple Watch Series 7 has finally landed.
