This 1TB 980 Pro in Samsung’s early Black Friday 2021 deals is not one to miss out on, either if you’re looking for a new drive for your PC or even to expand your PS5 storage this drive is the one for you. It is at the top of the range with PCIe Gen 4.0 connectivity it can achieve read speeds of up to 7,000 MB/s and write speeds of 5,000 MB/s, compared to the previous generation 970 Pro (which is only a Gen 3.0 NVMe) has a maximum read speed of up to 3,500 MB/s and a write up to 2,700MB/s. Meaning the newer 980 Pro has read/writes double that of the previous generation allowing much quicker load and saving times with it, which will be felt throughout your operating system, gaming, or even productivity.
