You can head over to Samsung and take a look at their Galaxy Book and monitor as part of their early Black Friday 2021 deals. A saving of 13% is a good discount on this selection that will immediately give you a setup to work from and even do some gaming on, apart from a mouse that is probably a better option than a trackpad. The laptop does come equipped with an Intel Core i7-1165G7 with integrated Iris Xe graphics, alongside its AMOLED screen it is enough for normal consumption but maybe a bit lacking on the gaming side if you’re looking to play something much heavier. It does run a 15 inch 1920×1080 screen with a brightness of 370 nits it does provide a slightly dim but usable display for day-to-day tasks, but using the bundled monitor would be a great idea. With a 32 inch screen at a resolution of 2560×1440, it also has an HDR10 rating so you can truly enjoy more out of your machine with this display especially since it provides extra USB hubs from the USB c connector as the laptop itself lacks some IO.
The laptop also comes with 16 GB of RAM and one terabyte of storage so you can enjoy multiple applications running at the same time and with good connectivity with Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6e it should be at lightning speeds too. It does only come with Windows 10 but is compatible with the upgrade so if you do want the newest operating system you should find the upgrade fairly straightforward, and you’ll find logging into windows straightforward too with the built-in fingerprint reader. You’ll also enjoy the lightness of it, with it weighing only 3.06 lbs so you can easily be productive on the go or elsewhere away from your desk.
