Get yourself a gaming laptop with the HP Pavillion laptop in the Black Friday 2021 sale at HP. You do get some limited customization options for the specs of the laptop. For the CPU you can either get the Ryzen 5 5600H or 7 5800H, both are good options but differ with adjusted core and speed counts. So if you need more multitasking and computing the higher option is better for you. You are also limited to the GTX 1650, a good entry into gaming that won’t break your bank. Don’t expect to play the newest titles at max settings but it will definitely be enough for most games with adjusted settings.

The Pavilion features a 15.6″ 1080p display which is standard screen size and the resolution won’t be an issue on smaller screens. You could upgrade the display to 144Hz to experience a much smoother and seemingly faster screen so it could be worth considering. By standard, it also comes with 8GB RAM which in our opinion is worth doubling to 16GB as newer games and applications will easily shred through that. However, it already comes with an NVMe so you don’t have to worry about slow loading speeds so just the size will matter.

The design is fairly standard HP with a sleek design and green accents. It also houses some B&O speakers which should be able to produce some good quality audio just fine. It also contains a plethora of connectivity, with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 as well as Gigabit Ethernet you can expect some rapid internet speeds (broadband provided). And for peripherals, you get a choice for, 1 Type-C USB, 2 Type-As, 1 HDMI, headphone/microphone, and an SD card reader. So altogether you get some great connectivity for your devices and displays.
