When will SteelSeries Arctis Nova Black Friday sales start in 2022?

Friday, 25th November 2022 is the date to circle in your calendars for Black Friday this year. That’s the Friday immediately after the US Thanksgiving holiday.

Cyber Monday soon follows on Monday, November 28th, and we expect most discounts to carry over that weekend. In fact, on occasion there are additional deals added on Cyber Monday itself.

Features to consider when looking for a Black Friday SteelSeries Arctis Nova deal

Wired or Wireless

As we previously established, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova have both wireless and wired varieties, depending on the model. The 7s are traditionally the main wireless offering, while the Pro comes in both Wired and Wireless options. Of course, it’ll depend if you intend to be close to your PC/console which one you’ll need – but of course expect to pay a little extra for wireless.

Connections

Of course, consideration has to be made where you’re going to use your Arctis Nova headset. Luckily, SteelSeries have made it easier in recent years to be able to expand their compatibility with multiple devices.

For example, while the Nova 7 come in standard, 7X (Xbox) and 7P (PlayStation) varieties, they also all come with a multi-platform USB dongle that should let you use them on PC, console and mobile. But be aware that not every feature will necessarily work with whatever you plug it into.

The Nova 1, meanwhile – uses a 3.5mm connection, so it can be plugged into almost anything with a standard headphone jack. The Nova 3 is compatible with PC, Mac, PlayStation, Switch and mobile devices via USB-C, and has a USB-A adapter included.

The Nova Pros are the trickiest – as the default model does come with a Multi System receiver so it works with PC, Mac, PlayStation and Switch. However, you’ll have to invest in the “for Xbox” model if you have an Xbox you’d like to use with them too thanks to that console’s proprietary format.

While the standard model does not work with Xbox, the Nova Pro ‘for Xbox’ model does indeed work with Xbox consoles.
