Gigabyte Aorus 15P deal specifications
This specific SKU is the Gigabyte AORUS 15P YD-73US244SH. It comes with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card but the 8GB VRAM version, which it should be pointed out is substantially less powerful than the 16GB iteration, and in this instance performs more like your average laptop RTX 3070. Still, for this price, this is still a great deal, particularly in this time of ongoing graphics card shortages, and the other core components of this laptop are nice additions: the Intel Core i7-11800H is a solid processor, the 1TB SSD is a sufficient minimum but can be easily upgraded further, and the 32GB of RAM, in particular, is more than enough.
The 240Hz 1080p display of this 15-inch machine will ensure that you’re highly unlikely to suffer an effective cap on your FPS when gaming, and the color gamut, contrast ratio, and peak brightness are all more than sufficient for gaming purposes. Really the only drawback of this machine is the annoying low-down placement of the webcam, but that’s hardly a major issue when you’re getting all this gaming goodness for this price.
