If you’re looking for a great mobile gaming platform, you won’t go far wrong with this MSI GS75. The 240Hz refresh rate with a solid response time makes it great for competitive gaming. The 1080p display has respectable color replication, suitable for gaming at the very least, and has decent contrast. Ultimately you cannot complain about getting a 17-inch gaming laptop for this cheap price.
In order to power the frames to reach that 240Hz ceiling, the MSI GS75 Stealth comes with an RTX 2060 graphics card – an older generation Nvidia GPU but one that still packs a punch for the mid-range. You won’t be able to hit 240FPS in any of the newer games on the higher settings, but older games like CS:GO will get there if you tweak the settings down a touch.
The Intel Core i7-10875H CPU is of a previous-gen but still a very decent processor for gaming on. The 16GB RAM does the job, and though the 512GB SSD is on the smaller side, this could be expanded upon through upgrading the laptop yourself or adding an external SSD.
