There are currently some huge savings to be made on the S95B. Amazon currently have the 65-inch model available for just $1797, that’s a staggering $1200 off its usual asking price of $2997. Is the S95B worth it ahead of the S95C launch?

Now that the S95C has been announced and is up for pre-order, you may be wondering whether the S95B is still worth getting. The short answer is yes. The S95B is a brilliant TV and is certainly still relevant in today’s market, especially with the great discounts on it at the moment. That said the Samsung S95C looks set to take the TV market by storm.

The new S95C model from Samsung offers several improvements upon its predecessor including but not limited to Samsung’s OneConnect Box which will help to organize and hide cables, and a 144Hz refresh rate. This improved refresh rate will come as welcome news to gamers who have been clamoring for higher frame rates on TVs for years now. This is a real step up and really adds to the appeal of this new TV.

Is the Samsung S95B deal worth it?

The S95B has been one of our favorite TVs for almost a year now. It’s right up there with the likes of the LG C2 and Sony X95K. That being said Samsung has just announced the S95C, which will act as the successor to the S95B. This new TV has just gone up for pre-order and is set to be even better than the S95B. That does not mean that the S95B is not worth it though. In fact, the affordability of the S95B in comparison to the C will likely make it a compelling option for some time to come. For this bargain price, you’re getting yourself a very capable TV.

The S95B has a wonderfully bright screen with near-infinite contrast, allowing for the blackest blacks right next to bright colors. It also boasts a great viewing angle and fantastic reflection handling. This makes it a great option for gathering around with the family to watch the game or some TV. Gamers should be satisfied by the S95B too. Rapid response times and low input lag make this the ideal TV for the modern gamer. All four of its ports support HDMI 2.1 bandwidth too, meaning you can have multiple consoles connected at once.
