If you’ve been waiting for an excuse to grab yourself a Sony A90K OLED TV then look no further. This incredible deal from Amazon sees a whopping $300 discount from the TV’s asking price.

In the past, we’ve debated the Sony A90K vs the LG C2 and with the expected release of the LG C3 now on the horizon, you might have been thinking the A90K isn’t the best option. We still believe the A90k is a really solid option though and with a discount as big as this, now is the perfect time to snag yourself a bargain.

Let’s have a closer look then at the deal Amazon are offering at the moment.

20% off Sony 48 inch A90K

Check out this incredible deal available at Amazon:

Amazon are currently offering an incredible $300 discount on the 48-inch Sony A90K OLED TV. That’s a full 20% off its asking price of $1499 to bring it down to just $1198.

Is the Sony A90K good for gaming?

When it was brought out last year, the mid-range A90K was in Sony’s “Perfect for PS5” collection. This means the TV comes with features designed specifically for use with the PS5, including Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode. The A90K will work well with all consoles though.

Being a 4K OLED TV the A90K’s display does not fail to impress. It is capable of near-infinite contrast and looks especially great in dark rooms, perfect for ultra-immersive gaming sessions. Two HDMI 2.1 ports and a 120Hz refresh rate, in conjunction with low input lag and a rapid response time, will mean that you can really get the most out of any current-gen console.

Is the Sony A90K worth it?

We think the Sony A90K is a really solid TV. Even at its full price, this offering from Sony makes a great choice for someone after a gaming TV or a TV for a smaller space. With this excellent deal however on the 48-inch variant, the A90K becomes a real bargain at just $1198. The only thing that slightly lets this TV down is its peak brightness, but for a discount of $300, that’s probably a sacrifice worth making.
