FIFA 23 Team of the Year nominees have been revealed, and feature a plethora of the world’s best players.

You’ll be able to vote for your favorite players from January 10 – and you can learn what you need to do and how this year’s voting system works right here.

In the mix we’ve got the likes of Real Madrid and France star Karim Benzema, Monaco sharpshooter Ben Yedder, Argentina legend Leo Messi and his PSG teammate Kylian Mbappe – the list goes on and on.

There is one notable name missing from the pack – last year’s 12th man Cristiano Ronaldo. Another notable snub is Antonio Rutiger, who has been in sensational form for Real Madrid but doesn’t feature in the nominations list. The full list of FIFA 23 TOTY nominations can be seen here

EA confirmed via Twitter that the voting will kick off on January 10th 2023 – although there are no details about exactly what time it starts. That’s where we come in.

We’ve done some snooping, and the good news is that last year’s TOTY activation may have some clues – which we dive into below.

What time could FIFA 23 TOTY voting start?

Based on last year’s FIFA 22 TOTY, which saw voting kick off at 16:00 GMT, we’d expect to see a similar time this year.

So, our prediction is that FIFA 23 TOTY voting will kick off on 16:00 GMT on January 10. For those in the United States, this would be:

  • 8AM PT
  • 11 AM ET

From there, you’ll have seven days before the vote will likely close on January 17. Again, if it’s anything like last year we’d expect voting to end at 7:59am GMT.

While the exact release date of the team is unknown, we would expect the Team of the Year to land towards the end of the month. The 12th man will follow shortly after.
