Is Age of Empires 4 on Game Pass? PC can but the Xbox can’t
Age of Empires Game Pass users can pre install the game now.
Age of Empires 4 is right around the corner. With the launch of Age of Empires IV on October 28, PC players are experiencing anticipation for the return of one of the most popular RTS series ever to launch. PC players can expect to play the game on Steam or the Microsoft Store. However, some want to give it a try without getting it at full price. For those that fall into the latter category, you can get Agre of Empires 4 on Game Pass.
Age of Empires 4 Game Pass
Any PC player that has Xbox Game Pass will be able to play Age of Empires at launch for ‘free’. For anyone who has never tried Xbox Game Pass before, you can get both the regular and ultimate versions for £1 or other appropriate regional currency. If not, you can expect to pay the usual subscription fee for whichever version of the Xbox Game Pass. You can read more about the various versions of Game Pass and the differences here.
Once you have decided on your service, you can then play Age of Empire 4 on Game Pass. The game launches on October 24 at 4 pm BST, which translates to 8 am PT or 11 ET and 5 pm CEST.
Moreso, if you manage to grab yourself an Xbox Game Pass subscription before Age of Empire 4 launch, you can preinstall the game.
Is Age of Empires 4 on Xbox?
Sadly, Age of Empires 4 is not available on Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S. The game is a PC exclusive. So, you will not be able to grab Age of Empires on your Xbox. If you are one of the players who play games on both PC and your Xbox, you’ll need to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to access the PC library on Game Pass.
