How to play with your friends cross platform on Apex Legends

Once you’ve enabled crossplay, you can then add friends on all platforms that have Apex Legends available.

To do this, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to the Friends menu.

Step 2: Click Find Friend.

Step 3: Type in your friend’s EA Public ID. You can also go to your Privacy Settings and change how other players can find you by: ‘Allow users to search for me by’ then you can check:

  • Email Address
  • PSN Online ID for PS4 and PS5
  • Xbox Live gamertag for Xbox
  • Nintendo Nickname for the Switch

Once you’ve added your friend, or they’ve added you, you can then play duos, triple or Arenas with them like normal.

So no matter the set-up, you and your squad can become Apex Legends together!
