Cheats don’t always refer to entering codes that give you an infinite health upgrade or grant you unlimited stamina. Sometimes cheats are just a better way to get around Hyrule or hidden secrets that you have yet to discover.

Breath of the Wild players were known for abusing the game’s mechanics through various button presses to build strange contraptions or travel the map faster. Are there cheats in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as well?

Will The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom have cheats?

Yes, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will most likely have cheats of some sort. In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, players used bombs, Magnesis, and the other Sheikah Slate abilities to find all sorts of secrets and perform crazy feats.

There is no doubt that the same type of crazy maneuvering will be attainable in Tears of the Kingdom. You may even be able to use Link’s new abilities to reach the final boss early in this challenging game.

Of course, these games aren’t the first in the Zelda franchise to have exploits. Previous titles like Ocarina of Time were known for having insane glitches that allowed players to skip large sections of the game.

Within a short period of time, there will be a long list of exploits that players will be able to take advantage of in Tears of the Kingdom. For now, there aren’t any that have been discovered. It is only a matter of time before a weapon is used in a way it wasn’t intended to launch Link into the great unknown or a player learns how to use the Ultrahand to easily defeat a boss. We will update this article when cheats are discovered and list them below.

Tears of the Kingdom is the first Zelda game to be released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch platform and is the direct sequel to Breath of the Wild.
