How to fix BattleBit Remastered Crashing

BattleBit Remastered only had three developers work to create this low poly first-person shooter game, but that hasn’t stopped it from becoming an overnight sensation.

Even on limited platforms, this hit has reached a new peak player count and became number one on the Steam top sellers list. An impressive feat without a doubt.

However, the game still is in early access, and some bugs and inevitable. If you need to fix your game of BattleBit Remastered crashing, we’re here to help.

BattleBit Remastered – how to fix crashing

There are a couple of different ways to fix crashes in BattleBit Remastered, and while there is no guaranteed method, these are sure to help and possibly solve the game crashing repeatedly:

  • Update your graphics drivers
  • Verify the integrity of the game files

Updating both your AMD graphics drivers and Nvidia graphics drivers on the graphics card on your OS to the latest drivers can keep the game from crashing by making sure your hardware is fully up to date. Having outdated drivers can also cause problems in other games, so if you find you’re having similar issues while playing on your PC, this could be the issue. Once you have the download done and the update process is finished, your drivers shouldn’t give you any issues.

To verify integrity of game files, and confirm that everything has been installed correctly, you can right-click the game on Steam and select Properties. From there, click Installed Files and on-screen instructions will come up to allow you to verify the integrity of those local files. This will make sure nothing was installed incorrectly while downloading the game that’s causing issues, and that there are no missing game files. You can always repair game files as well.

These troubleshooting methods will allow a clean boot and can help solve crashes and allow for a smooth gameplay experience.

Tips for solving crashes in BattleBit Remastered

It’s also worth disabling GPU overclocking and firewall software or antivirus software, which could be slowing down the game, as well. Because BattleBit is a low poly game, overclocking is unnecessary and could be causing more problems than it solves. These unnecessary background tasks aren’t needed.

This can help with bug fixes and crashing issues.

BattleBit Remastered has low minimum system requirements and doesn’t take tons of available GB, so you shouldn’t be facing startup crashes or in-game crashes often due to the processor not taking on too much heat. While the server is capable of holding up to 254 players in a single game, it doesn’t take advanced systems to run. However, it’s worth it to check system requirements and available space on your RAM for the minimum requirements to run the game, anyway.
