How to ping in BattleBit Remastered

BattleBit Remastered is full of low poly fun for anyone who misses the good old days of Battlefield shooters with friends.

Filled with a variety of weapons including SMGs, assault rifles, and sniper rifles, multiple classes to choose from including Support class and Assault class, and a vast community to keep matches interesting, there is plenty of fun for gamers. If you want to be the best, you’ll have to know how to use your abilities to your advantage.

Do you need to know how to ping in BattleBit Remastered? We’ve got you covered.

BattleBit Remastered – How to ping

Pinging in BattleBit Remastered to tag objectives for your squad can be done by pressing the mouse wheel button. This lets you mark points for you and your teammates to head to, and attack. This notification will be seen by all squad members.

It’s important to note that only those playing as the Squad Leader class can ping! Any other class you’re playing will not allow you to ping objectives. It’s part of being the Squad Leader to decide where everyone goes, which makes sense why they are the only class that can do this during combat.

You can change which button to use in the game settings if you prefer to use a different key to mark objectives, but the mouse wheel button is the default. If you wish to change this setting, all you have to do is:

  • Go to Settings
  • Go to Keybindings
  • Change the keybinding for Ping

This will allow you to change your keybinding for ping to whatever button you prefer.

Tips for pinging in BattleBit Remastered

Pinging is for marking an objective or location on the map, so the entire squad can see the point they are heading to designated by the Squad Leader. This makes grouping up much simpler, and so if the team becomes scattered during intense battles, they are able to group up again.

Because the servers are capable of handling up to over 200 players in a single match, it’s important for everyone to be able to group up effectively, and pinging a marker for allies is a great way to do this.

Pinging is specific to the Squad Leader, and this class also gets other benefits like gadgets such as the grappling hook. Other classes will get access to different perks, like the air drone for snipers or the Recon class, the medic kit for the Medic class, and the repair tool for the Engineer class.

Pinging is extremely useful for wordless communication in BattleBit Remastered, which is essential for winning games. Working in tandem with your team is the most effective tool in BattleBit Remastered, even more than tanks and the best weapons.
