Battlefield 2042 is the most ambitious Battlefield PVP to date with incredible large-scale maps and constantly changing weather conditions as the matches progress. While these additions are nice, DICE has also made adjustments to how guns work, benefitting players dramatically. The gun customization process, named the Plus System, has been refined to provide on-the-fly changes mid-battle, allowing combatants to switch up their loadout as and when they feel like it.

One part of this gun customization process is the ability to add and change attachments to the guns in your loadout. To take advantage of the new Plus System and add attachments in Battlefield 2042, you’re going to need to know how. Below, we’ll discuss how to get this done quickly and efficiently on all systems, just like the attachment swapping you’ll be doing in-game.

If you’re on the Xbox, whether that’s the Series X or Series S, hold down the LB shoulder button and use either the directional pad or the ABXY buttons to cycle through the attachments. If you are using ABXY, the buttons work in the same way as the D-pad with A corresponding to down and Y corresponding to up for example.
