So, how do you get that rocket to launch in Battlefield 2042’s Orbital map? Well, you’d be surprised to know that it is, in fact, time-based and there’s nothing a player can do to influence the launch.
While there’s nothing you can do to get the rocket launch going. There is a specific indicator as to when it is happening. If you watch the rocket closely, you should be able to see the rocket’s support arms slowly come down, preparing it for take off. How to destroy the rocket in Battlefield 2042
If you’re looking to destroy the Orbital rocket, you’ll have to wait until it’s preparing to take off. Any damage that you’re trying to deal to the aircraft will be simply ineffective until this point. However, once the initiation sequence has started, this is when you need to let all hell break loose as you only have 6 minutes to get the job done.
If you want to successfully destroy the rocket, you’re going to need more than a few guns. You’ll need tanks, projectiles, helicopters, and more to dispatch it and even if you have all of this, you need to coordinate your attack to ensure you succeed.
