Bayonetta 3 Pre Order Details

There are a couple of different Bayonetta 3 editions, the standard edition and then the Trinity Masquerade Edition. The Trinity Masquerade Edition includes the game itself, three reversible game covers, and a 200-page artbook.

When Is The Bayonetta 3 Release Date?

Bayonetta 3 is currently scheduled to launch on October 28th, 2022. The game was officially announced back in 2017 at The Game Awards, as well as confirmation of Switch versions of Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2.

It’s been quite a long development process for the game, with our first gameplay only coming last year during a September 2021 Nintendo Direct. Since then we’ve seen bits and pieces of the game, with yesterday being the biggest piece we’ve seen so far. Bayonetta 1 was released in 2009 and was critically lauded mainly for the combat and soundtrack it utilized to extreme effect. It was inspired by Devil May Cry 4 and Scandinavian myths, with a sequel quickly being greenlit.

Bayonetta 2 was released in September 2014, bringing with it a huge swathe of gameplay improvements and attempting to bring a whole new set of fans in with it. This means that by the time Bayonetta 3 releases it’s been a full eight years since the last game, and a whole new set of fans will be discovering Bayonetta for the first time come October of this year.
