One of the first choices you will have to make in Destiny 2 can be quite game-changing. Picking your class in the game determines your playstyle for most of the game and can not be easily changed once you have made your choice.

While every class is easily useable in Destiny 2, each one has its own strengths and weaknesses than make them the best class to use in specific areas of the game. Depending on the current meta of Destiny 2 specific classes can be just overall better than the rest. Let’s go over the best class to use in Destiny 2.

Which Class Is The Best In Destiny 2

While every class is useable in some way or another, there is one class that has been reigning supreme in a multitude of ways for quite some time. The Warlock has some insane versatility when it comes to Destiny 2.

Not only is it one of the more sought-after classes for PvE content like the Vow Of The Disciple raid because of their Well of Radiance and grenade spamming builds. But with specific exotics, they can be quite the menace in PvP too.

This makes the Warlock the best class to pick up for new players coming into Destiny 2. No matter what kind of content you want to do a Warlock will easily be able to find its place in it.

After you have spent a bit of time on Warlock and familiarized yourself with the game a bit, you might want to go back and make either a Hunter or Titan to play around with. Just because they have a harder time fitting into specific activity types doesn’t mean they are outright useless.

Warlock having so much versatility may actually lead to it receiving a nerf similar to what Titans received with the release of Lightfall. It has been a well-known fact that both their Well of Radiance super and the Starfire Protocol exotic have been the go-to for far too long. They need to be brought back in line with other options in some way.

But until these changes happen, Warlock is hands down the best class to get into Destiny 2 with at the moment.
