We found that some players seem to find the camera controls and aiming sensitivity to be a little bit sluggish or unresponsive. The best solution to this problem would be bumping up these values just a little. Play around and figure out what works best for you. It’s also been suggested on Reddit to turn down camera acceleration, as this can be annoying feature for some.

We also felt that the follow camera speed could be increased so it snaps back to where you want to be facing faster.

With that in mind, here are some suggested values:

  • Camera sensitivity: 1.25
  • Aiming sensitivity: 1.25
  • Camera acceleration: 0.5
  • Follow camera speed: 1.5

Is controller the best input device for Hogwarts Legacy?

We’d have to say that this mostly comes down to personal preference, just like many controller vs keyboard and mouse arguments. Since Hogwarts Legacy isn’t a aim-heavy FPS or precision based racing game, the choice is yours.

The benefit of something like mouse and keyboard would mostly come in the form of easier menu and inventory navigation in our opinion.
