Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 is almost upon us.

One of the hottest mobile games of the decade is about to receive a new content boost.

There’s no telling where the latest season of content could take the game next.

We’ve gathered all the info on COD Mobile Season 8.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 Release Date

Thanks to Activision posting a blog entry, we know the Call of Duty Season 8 release date is September 7th, 2022. That means that we have about a week until the new content drops.

The blog post also details exactly what time of day the game drops. We can expect the new content to go live at 5 PM PT/8 PM ET on September 7th, 2022.

If you’re in the UK, the release date and time are 1 AM BST on September 8th, 2022.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 Gameplay Details

We know that the new content pack is titled ‘Train to nowhere,’ and that’s a pretty apt name. The bundle of new content includes a return of fan-favorite Black Ops 2 map ‘Express,’ which features a train as a central landmark.

There’s also a new perk on the way entitled Spycraft. This new perk allows you to hack enemy ground equipment to turn it against them. You’ll be able to unlock the new perk through a special seasonal event taking place throughout Call of Duty Mobile Season 8.

For fans of Battle Royale mode, you’ll be happy to hear there’s a new class on the way. The Igniter class can set flaming traps for unaware enemies and receives reduced damage from explosions and fire.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 Battle Pass

Until the game drops, we won’t have any details on the exact contents of the battle pass. We know at least some details on what will and won’t be available on the free and premium battle passes.

The free battle pass will give you access to some great goodies, like the ZRG 20mm sniper rifle and the new Igniter class for Battle Royale mode.

For the premium pass, you’ll have access to almost all the spy-related rewards in the game, including a bunch of new Operator skins. You’ll also be able to get some cool new weapon skins, including exclusive skins for the new ZRG 20mm.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 Store Update

As is typical of a new COD Mobile season, Season 8 brings an update to the store.

Of particular note to the store updates, this time around are the new legendary Operators, such as Sophia – Errant Knight. This new Operator is famous for using a butterfly knife given to her by legendary antagonist Vladimir Makarov.

Alongside the new Operators, you’ll be given the chance to get your hands on some legendary weapon blueprints. These blueprints include options for the Kilo 141, PPSh-41, ZRG 20mm, and many more.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 Events & Challenges

Another big addition with Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 is the Events & Challenges bought to the game.

The new season event is known as Operation: Spy Hunt and mostly deals with intel and killing enemy spies. During gameplay, you’ll collect clues that you can use to intercept enemy intel and gain rewards.

Even more interestingly, during Battle Royale mode, you’ll be given specific Operators to target. If you hunt them down and take them out, you get more clues to unlock more rewards.

The new challenges of Season 8 will allow you to earn even more new skins and items. You’ll also be able to gain up to 30K in battle pass XP.
