Today, February 14th, 2022, Season 2 of Call of Duty is rolling out across Warzone, Vanguard and Zombies. While the full update isn’t out until later in the day, the Vanguard Valentine’s Day event had already started, but some players are now reporting that servers are currently down. So what’s happening, and what does the COD Duhok-Guernsey error code mean?

Call of Duty Vanguard Duhok-Guernsey error code

CODwarzone vanguard error code duhok-guernsey

The error code that is appearing is Duhok-Guernsey, and is not a new error. It seems this is usually when Call of Duty servers are down unexpectedly, but today there seems to be an easy fix. In the meantime, you are able to continue playing offline when this error code appears.

How to fix COD Duhok-Guernsey error code

We have tested this out, and it does seem that servers are back online and working as normal now. If you are still seeing the Duhok-Guernsey error code when trying to load into Call of Duty Vanguard, close the game altogether, and load back in. This should stop the error code appearing and let you play Vanguard online once again.

Call of Duty Valentine’s Day update

Call of Duty Vanguard Season 2 update launch Valentines day event

The error may have been a temporary issue due to higher player numbers than usual. Today is the launch of a Valentine’s-themed event as well as a new Season, so expect it to be a busy day for Call of Duty. As such, the servers may have further issues today. If they do, be sure to check back and we’ll update this page with everything we know.
